Sangla is a town in the Baspa Valley, also referred to as the Sangla valley, in the Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh, India, close to the Tibetan border.

Sangla, also known as the Sangla Valley, is perched at an altitude of 2,696 meters above sea level and is cradled by the majestic Himalayan range.Overall, the climate of Sangla is quite pleasant throughout the year, although the winters tend to be a bit harsh. Summers are hot but the heat is not really scorching. The temperature during summers ranges from 8 to 30 degrees Celcius. Monsoon season in the valley brings a lesser amount of rainfall.
